Unbelievers, Denying Quran and Truth

 وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْكَ وَجَعَلْنَا عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِي آذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًا وَإِن يَرَوْاْ كُلَّ آيَةٍ لاَّ يُؤْمِنُواْ بِهَا حَتَّى إِذَا جَآؤُوكَ يُجَادِلُونَكَ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ إِنْ هَذَآ إِلاَّ أَسَاطِيرُ الأَوَّلِينَ 6:25

اور ان ميں بعض ايسے ہيں کہ تمہاري (باتوں کي) طرف کان رکھتے ہيں. اور ہم نے ان کے دلوں پر تو پردے ڈال ديئے ہيں کہ ان کو سمجھ نہ سکيں اور کانوں ميں ثقل پيدا کرديا ہے (کہ سن نہ سکيں) اور اگر يہ تمام نشانياں بھي ديکھ ليں تب بھي ان پر ايمان نہ لائيں. يہاں تک کہ جب تمہارے پاس تم سے بحث کرنے کو آتے ہيں تو جو کافر ہيں کہتے ہيں يہ (قرآن) اور کچھ بھي نہيں صرف پہلے لوگوں کي کہانياں ہيں6:25

 6:25 And there are among them such as [seem to] listen to thee [O Prophet]: but over their hearts We have laid veils which prevent them from grasping the truth, and into their ears, deafness. And were they to see every sign [of the truth], they would still not believe in it-so much so that when they come unto thee to contend with thee, those who are bent on denying the truth say, "This is nothing but fables of ancient times!"6:25

 6:25 Of them there are some who (pretend to) listen to thee; but We have thrown veils on their hearts, So they understand it not, and deafness in their ears; if they saw every one of the signs, not they will believe in them; in so much that when they come to thee, they (but) dispute with thee; the Unbelievers say: "These are nothing but tales of the ancients."6:25
