Hood(pbuh), People of Aad

 وَاذْكُرْ أَخَا عَادٍ إِذْ أَنذَرَ قَوْمَهُ بِالْأَحْقَافِ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ النُّذُرُ مِن بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا اللَّهَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ 46:21

اور (قوم) عاد کے بھائي (ہود) کو ياد کرو کہ جب انہوں نے اپني قوم کو سرزمين احقاف ميں ہدايت کي اور ان سے پہلے اور پيچھے بھي ہدايت کرنے والے گزرچکے تھے کہ خدا کے سوا کسي کي عبادت نہ کرو. مجھے تمہارے بارے ميں بڑے دن کے عذاب کا ڈر لگتا ہے 46:21

 46:21 AND REMEMBER that brother of [the tribe of] Ad, how - seeing that [other] warnings had already come and gone within his own knowledge as well as in times beyond his ken - he warned his people [who lived] among those sand-dunes: “Worship none but God!
