Story, Of Villagers Who Denied Messengers

 أَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِ آلِهَةً إِن يُرِدْنِ الرَّحْمَن بِضُرٍّ لاَّ تُغْنِ عَنِّي شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَيْئًا وَلاَ يُنقِذُونِ 36:23

کيا ميں ان کو چھوڑ کر اوروں کو معبود بناؤں؟ اگر خدا ميرے حق ميں نقصان کرنا چاہے تو ان کي سفارش مجھے کچھ بھي فائدہ نہ دے سکے اور نہ وہ مجھ کو چھڑا ہي سکيں 36:23

 36:23 Should I take to worship­ping [other] deities beside Him? [But then,] if the Most Gracious should will that harm befall me, their intercession could not in the least avail me, nor could they save me:36:23
