Story, People of Sheba

 فَأَعْرَضُوا فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَيْلَ الْعَرِمِ وَبَدَّلْنَاهُم بِجَنَّتَيْهِمْ جَنَّتَيْنِ ذَوَاتَى أُكُلٍ خَمْطٍ وَأَثْلٍ وَشَيْءٍ مِّن سِدْرٍ قَلِيلٍ 34:16

تو انہوں نے (شکرگزاري سے) منہ پھير ليا پس ہم نے ان پر زور کا سيلاب چھوڑ ديا اور انہيں ان کے باغوں کے بدلے دو ايسے باغ ديئے جن کے ميوے بدمزہ تھے اور جن ميں کچھ تو جھاؤ تھا اور تھوڑي سي بيرياں34:16

 34:16 But they turned away [from Us], and so We let loose upon them a flood that overwhelmed the dams, and changed their two [expanses of luxuriant] gardens into a couple of gardens yielding bitter fruit, and tamarisks, and some few [wild] lote-trees:34:16
