وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَ وَقَد تَّبَيَّنَ لَكُم مِّن مَّسَاكِنِهِمْ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَكَانُوا مُسْتَبْصِرِينَ 29:38 |

اور عاد اور ثمود کو بھي (ہم نے ہلاک کر ديا) چنانچہ اُن کے (ويران گھر) تمہاري آنکھوں کے سامنے ہيں اور شيطان نے اُن کے اعمال ان کو آراستہ کر دکھائے اور ان کو (سيدھے) رستے سے روک ديا. حالانکہ وہ ديکھنے والے (لوگ )تھے 29:38

29:38 AND [the tribes of] Ad and Thamud [too, did We destroy -] as should have become obvious to you from [whatever there remains of] their dwellings. [They perished] because Satan had made their [sinful] doings seem goodly to them, and thus had barred them from the path [of God] despite their having been endowed with the ability to perceive the truth. 29:38

29:38 (Remember also) the 'Ad and the Thamud (people): clearly will appear to you from (the traces) of their buildings (their fate): the Evil One made their deeds alluring to them, and kept them back from the Path, though they were gifted with intelligence and skill.29:38
