 ثُمَّ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا تَتْرَا كُلَّ مَا جَاء أُمَّةً رَّسُولُهَا كَذَّبُوهُ فَأَتْبَعْنَا بَعْضَهُم بَعْضًا وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ أَحَادِيثَ فَبُعْدًا لِّقَوْمٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ 23:44

پھر ہم نے پے درپے اپنے پيغمبر بھيجتے رہے. جب کسي اُمت کے پاس اس کا پيغمبر آتا تھا تو وہ اسے جھٹلاتے تھے تو ہم بھي بعض کو بعض کے پيچھے (ہلاک کرتے اور ان پر عذاب) لاتے رہے اور ان کے افسانے بناتے رہے. پس جو لوگ ايمان نہيں لاتے ان پر لعنت 23:44

 23:44 And We sent forth Our apostles, one after another: [and] every time their apostle came to a community, they gave him the lie: and so We caused them to follow one another [into the grave], and let them become [mere] tales: and so - away with the folk who would not believe!23:44

 23:44 Then sent We our apostles in succession: every time there came to a people their apostle, they accused him of falsehood: so We made them follow each other (in punishment): We made them as a tale (that is told): So away with a people that will not believe!23:44
