Mussa(pbuh), Allah(swt), Addressing Bani Israel

 وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ الطُّورَ خُذُواْ مَا آتَيْنَاكُم بِقُوَّةٍ وَاذْكُرُواْ مَا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ 2:63

اور جب ہم نے تم سے عہد (کر) ليا اور کوہِ طُور کو تم پر اٹھا کھڑا کيا (اور حکم ديا) کہ جو کتاب ہم نے تم کو دي ہے، اس کو زور سے پکڑے رہو، اور جو اس ميں (لکھا) ہے، اسے ياد رکھو، تاکہ (عذاب سے) محفوظ رہو2:63

 2:63 AND LO! We accepted your solemn pledge, raising Mount Sinai high above you, [and saying;] "Hold fast with [all your] strength unto what We have vouchsafed you, and bear in mind all that is therein, so that you might remain conscious of God!"2:63
