Jihad, Muslims Must Fight

 كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْقِتَالُ وَهُوَ كُرْهٌ لَّكُمْ وَعَسَى أَن تَكْرَهُواْ شَيْئًا وَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَعَسَى أَن تُحِبُّواْ شَيْئًا وَهُوَ شَرٌّ لَّكُمْ وَاللّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ 2:216

(مسلمانو) تم پر (خدا کے رستے ميں) لڑنا فرض کرديا گيا ہے وہ تمہيں ناگوار تو ہوگا مگر عجب نہيں کہ ايک چيز تم کو بري لگے اور وہ تمہارے حق ميں بھلي ہو اور عجب نہيں کہ ايک چيز تم کو بھلي لگے اور وہ تمہارے لئے مضر ہو. اور ان باتوں کو) خدا ہي بہتر جانتا ہے اور تم نہيں جانتے2:216

 2:216 FIGHTING is ordained for you, even though it be hateful to you; but it may well be that you hate a thing the while it is good for you, and it may well be that you love a thing the while it is bad for you: and God knows, whereas you do not know. 2:216

 2:216 Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not.2:216
