Guiding Muslims, To Deal With People of the Book

 وَدَّ كَثِيرٌ مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَوْ يَرُدُّونَكُم مِّن بَعْدِ إِيمَانِكُمْ كُفَّاراً حَسَدًا مِّنْ عِندِ أَنفُسِهِم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الْحَقُّ فَاعْفُواْ وَاصْفَحُواْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ اللّهُ بِأَمْرِهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ 2:109

بہت سے اہل کتاب اپنے دل کي جلن سے يہ چاہتے ہيں کہ ايمان لا چکنے کے بعد تم کو پھر کافر بنا ديں. حالانکہ ان پر حق ظاہر ہو چکا ہے. تو تم معاف کردو اور درگزر کرو. يہاں تک کہ خدا اپنا (دوسرا) حکم بھيجے. بے شک خدا ہر بات پر قادر ہے 2:109

 2:109 Out of their selfish envy, many among the followers of earlier revelation would like to bring you back to denying the truth after you have attained to faith - [even] after the truth has become clear unto them. None the less, forgive and forbear, until God shall make manifest His will: behold, God has the power to will anything.2:109
