Muhammad(pbuh), Allah(swt) Telling Him His Task

 كَذَلِكَ أَرْسَلْنَاكَ فِي أُمَّةٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهَا أُمَمٌ لِّتَتْلُوَ عَلَيْهِمُ الَّذِيَ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ وَهُمْ يَكْفُرُونَ بِالرَّحْمَـنِ قُلْ هُوَ رَبِّي لا إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ مَتَابِ 13:30

(جس طرح ہم اور پيغمبر بھيجتے رہے ہيں) اسي طرح (اے محمد) ہم نے تم کو اس امت ميں جس سے پہلے بہت سي امتيں گزر چکي ہيں بھيجا ہے تاکہ تم ان کو وہ (کتاب) جو ہم نے تمہاري طرف بھيجي ہے پڑھ کر سنا دو اور يہ لوگ رحم?ن کو نہيں مانتے. کہہ دو وہي تو ميرا پروردگار ہے اس کے سوا کوئي معبود نہيں. ميں اسي پر بھروسہ رکھتا ہوں اور اسي کي طرف رجوع کرتا ہوں 13:30

 13:30 Thus have We raised thee [O Muhammad] as Our Apostle amidst a community [of unbelievers] before whose time [similar] communities have come and gone, so that thou might propound to them what We have revealed unto thee: for [in their ignorance] they deny the Most Gracious ! Say: "He is my Sustainer. There is no deity save Him. In Him have I placed my trust, and unto Him is my recourse!"13:30

 13:30 Thus have we sent thee amongst a People before whom (long since) have (other) Peoples (gone and) passed away; in order that thou mightest rehearse unto them what We send down unto thee by inspiration; yet do they reject (Him), the Most Gracious! Say: "He is my Lord! There is no god but He! On Him is my trust, and to Him do I turn!"13:30
