 ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِ رُسُلاً إِلَى قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَآؤُوهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤْمِنُواْ بِمَا كَذَّبُواْ بِهِ مِن قَبْلُ كَذَلِكَ نَطْبَعُ عَلَى قُلوبِ الْمُعْتَدِينَ 10:74

پھر نوح کے بعد ہم نے اور پيغمبر اپني اپني قوم کي طرف بھيجے. تو وہ ان کے پاس کھلي نشانياں لے کر آئے. مگر وہ لوگ ايسے نہ تھے کہ جس چيز کي پہلے تکذيب کرچکے تھے اس پر ايمان لے آتے. اسي طرح ہم زيادتي کرنے والوں کے دلوں پر مہر لگا ديتے ہيں 10:74

 10:74 AND THEN, after him, We sent forth [other] apostles-each one unto his own people -and they brought them all evidence of the truth; but they would not believe in anything to which they had once given the lie: thus it is that We seal the hearts of such as [are wont to] transgress the bounds of what is right. 10:74
